Topic: starting and finishing strong. 
Text: Philippians 3: 13-14
The speaker talked about 7things to work upon
1. The power of decision. Life never gives you what you desire but what you decide. He talked about the story of Jabez, the second influence is about the prodigal son . Prodigal son wished and arose to go back to his father. He quoted that if you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything. He urge us to decided on what we wish to get. What you decide is what you possess 
2. Power of foresight. It has to do with knowing the end right from the beginning. He quoted that what you see is what you get. If you can see the glories end, you will possess it. Your hands can hold it if your eyes can see it. He made an advise to picture how the convocation would be. What you perceive is what you receive. 
3. The power of motivation. It is what you do with your time and brain that determine your result in life. He urge us to value our time, put your time productively. He quoted that: What keeps you going is what keeps you winning. And he also quoted that winners never quit and quitters never win. Have good friend, have friend that will motivating you. The determination you have now will carry you throughout the  of storms and challenge. He added that we should be motivated. He quoted that “If you need that result badly pursue it madly”. 
4. Power of prioritization: Do the first thing first. We have important things, unimportant things, urgent and things that are not urgent.   Never miss a class if you truly desire the results you need to get to the top.. the first thing to academic success is to get your priorities right. 
5. The power of concentration: distraction is an attraction that side tract you. Feed your focus starve your distractions. Concentrate is the act of blocking out every side attraction 
6. The power of consistency: Practice makes perfect. It’s not what we do in a while that count but our habitual actions. 
7. Power of the supernatural: haven’t done all you need God…. Beyond what you have done God blesses you more and more. Never underrate the power of supernatural. Prayerful preparation prevent poor performance. “Gods hand I still posses. Martin Luther” . Always work and pray. Success is not solely measure by great, but by the lesson you have learned. With perseverance and dedication there’s no limit to what you can achieve.
